| Dimensions | This is fantastic scope for any .22 mag or .22 LR or any crossbow. I own four of these scopes and have them on a number of guns.In each case the scope was easy to sight in and has held its zero through many shooting sessions. I have actually cut the vane off off one arrow while target shooting with the crossbow. What I like is that it gathers a lot of the available light to give a good sight picture and the mil dot reticle is the best type when you need to adjust for varying ranges. It is also a very light weight scope, does not add a significant load. I tested a number of other scopes from CV Life, Monstrum, Simmons, Tasco, Pinty, and found this one to be the best for most of my needs. I bought the first scope onMarch 16, 2016 and have been adding them as I go.These are the weapons I have mounted the scopes on:1. Henry .22 WMR lever action rifle.2. Henry .22 S-L-LR lever action rifle.3. Chiappa Little Badger .22 WMR survival rifle.4. SAS Jaguar 175lb recurve camo crossbow.They work great. |
| Model Number | A more than decent set of optics for this price making a fairly good deal. Once zeroed in, it holds its center point very well. In fact, it’s better in this regard to similarly priced scopes I’ve used. Tough and rugged in its construction and its optics are very clear and crisp, easily adjusted at the ocular with a tightening band available. The only real drawback are the mount pieces. They’re too short and one has to really get their cheek far down on the gun stock to use the scope. With an extra inch added to the Picatinny rail mounts this would be a really good scope for a wide range of distances. |

| Material | For the price it’s a decent scope. Don’t expect the clarity of a high priced name brand. I wear reading glasses so after adjusting rear eyepiece to get the focus clear, it brought the eye relief to about 2″. I have it mounted on a AR style rifle in 9MM with very little recoil so it’s not bad, if you have it on a higher recoiling rifle it would probably be a problem with such short eye relief. Also note that if you are putting it on an AR with flat top you will need a 1″ riser, and with the short eye relief it will need a cantilevered mount to extend it rearward farther than the rail allows. |
| Power Source | Bought this for my Ruger 10/22, as I hated the stock iron sights. It arrived all set up, and took a couple of minutes to put on the rail with a healthy dose of Loc-tite. The stock 10/22 rail is a bit odd, as it has a dovetail mount on top of the weaver mount, so it took some fiddling to get into place. However, that’s a failing on Ruger’s part, and not the scope’s.I don’t have a .22 boresight, so it took a while to get onto paper, but once I did, I needed only one try to get it zeroed. This scope’s adjustments are 1/4 MOA, so one click is 1/16″ at 25yds. Turning the adjustments took considerable effort, but there was a good audible ‘click’ each time. I can now make a ragged hole in the bullseye with 10 shots at 25yds, prone, where I was previously getting hand sized groups with the stock irons. So far, this has held up to getting dropped in mud and banged around in the back seat of a car without drifting. I’d be willing to bet this would hold up with a stronger cartridge.The included scope caps are see-thru, but I take them off to shoot anyway, because they slightly blur the target. The reticle looks to be graduated in MOA, and I’ve shot out to 100yds using the 4MOA holdover, and it worked as expected. I’m not really sure what to make of the rangefinder lines on the bottom of the scope, but they might be useful for small game hunting if you knew how to use them.All in all, a much better product than I was expecting at this price point. The only thing I’d change is giving the adjustments something more to grasp, I ended up grabbing them with a pair of pliers instead of tearing up my fingers. But I guess that means they won’t drift by themselves. |
