| Dimensions | I ordered a Pinty 4-16X40 A0 scope, sold by Banyan Imports and Fulfilled by Amazon. The windage adjustment knob came off after a few shots, and I returned it to amazon, who immediately refunded my cost. Although the optics did seem very good, I gave the scope a 2 star rating, because of quality control(Amazon has great Customer Service.)A short time later, I received an email from Banyan Imports, saying these were good quality scopes, and it was unusual to receive a faulty one, and they would send me another scope to try out for free. I took them up on their offer, and I shortly received another scope.I tried the new Pinty 4-16X40 AO scope they sent me, as soon as time permitted, and found it to be much better. All the adjustments worked fine, and the optics was clear at all powers.After over 100 shots with a Benjamin Prowler NP break barrel 22 cal. air rifle, all adjustments kept adjusted, and everything still worked fine. For the price, this scope cannot be beat!I will review it again after a few hundred more shots.Banyan Imports had very good customer service, and they go out of their way to satisfy their customers. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.I now give both the scope and Banyan Imports a 5 STAR Rating. |
| Model Number | Order this scope and received it in two days. Took it to the range shortly after arrival for a good ride. It took about 9 rounds to ZERO at 250 yds. I put more than 200 rounds anywhere from 100 to 500 yds and it was right on target. The scope can go way beyond but I ran out of room. Not sure if I ever would have to take a shot beyond 500 yds but I plan to shot it at 900-1000 yds. I love close hunting (withing 500 yds) in order to ensure a clean hit. Its just an ethical personal rule that I have. With this scope I can easly see myself going up to 750 to 800 yds and changing my game forever. I was told by a long range sniper that anyone with good shooting fundamentals and great equipment (scope and rifle) can constanly make 1,000 yds shots. The scope was my last piece to the puzzle. Lets go and get some MEAT!!! |
| Color | The point of impact was inconsistent to the cross hair adjustment. To get the shot where you want it be, the knob had to turn several times back and forth. I sighted the rifle at 25 yards, suppose 8 clicks would bring the point of impact 1/2 inch (1/4 inch for a click at 100 yard) to the direction of adjustment. The shot should hit lower after down adjustment, but it was not so. Same with the windage adjustment. It’s frustrating. All screws were checked and all were tight. Scope sit firmly on the rings. For all the considerations, the scope was mounted on .177 fixed barrel air rifle meaning the recoil was not significant and the barrel didn’t move relative to the scope.June 18, 2019.I received a positive response from Banyan Import that a new scope will be shipped to me to compare.June 20, 2019Received a confirmation that a new scope have been sent to me. Still waiting for the tracking number. I will update how it goes.July 09, 2019Just had a chance to install the new replacement scope replacing the old one and zero-ing today. Lens clarity and everything else was just as good as the first one. Took me about 6 groups of 3 to 4 shots at 25 yards distance to get close to the bull’s eye. Then run a brush and cleaned the barrel with Hoppes barrel cleaner. Made 4 groups of 3 shots again and done. The pellets hit where the bull’s eye was within .5 inch group.I revise from 3 to 4 stars (as there is no 4.5) because of the positive and very good customer support from Banyan Imports which stands behind its products and works hard to satisfy its customers.I would give 5 stars if the first initial scope performed well flawlessly. |

I shot a 10 shot group from a rest that I could cover with a quarter. The only downfall I can find with this scope is the crosshairs are very very bright even on the lowest setting. But still very very good for the price point. I was out shooting Nikon p223 scope and 300 plus dollar red dots with this $60 scope. I loved it.
