| Dimensions | I got to test drive the 2-8X version before purchasing because a buddy of mine had one. After a night of hug hunting with it I immediately had to purchase my own. With the high degree of thermal resolution, sighting in was a breeze. I was able to see the paper target easily against the backstop even after 10-15 mins of being exposed to the same sun/heat as the background and after 30 mins plus, there was a decent distinction between the target and the backstop. The 384 image resolution is perfect for my needs as I will only be shooting at targets 100 yards or less. The high resolution unit (640) definitely clearer, a lot clearer, but again for my needs I couldn’t justify upgrading.I did have an issue with the first unit they sent me and had to exchange it (which was a painless process and extremely fast). It would loose focus after every shot and I would have to manually refocus every time. The new unit does not have this problem.The only thing I have noticed with the new unit is I do see some slight screen interference when the wifi is on but nothing significant enough for me to want send it back and it may just be my unit. Overall, great thermal. |

The scope does so many things and has so many capabilities, that you really do need to take the time to read the manual and understand everything, or you will miss out. I mounted on my AR-15. It was quick and easy to zero in. I’ve field tested it -hunted hogs in south Texas on multiple occasions. My experience has been, it’s everything its advertised to be. It’s the real deal. I have been very pleased with it and would highly recommend it to others. |

When zoomed past the 5 power the image becomes so pixalated you can’t make out objects anyway. At 5 power it’s good to shoot out to 150 yards, make out hogs to 400. |
