You don’t have to go to school, but you do need common sense. (If this offends you, then you probably shouldn’t be owning or using what you have it mounted to)Its not perfect, but neither is the much more costly versions, which also fail due to improper use or abuse.I use it for small game sight enhancement, and it only took a few minutes to zero it out.Had it in 1″ groups in less than 6 shots, at 25/50 yards.The red/green adjustment is nice. Watch some videos, and learn how to use any scope, and find one that will suit your application best. I find that knowledge is key to safety and accuracy. |

Waiting on replacement, I’m sure I just got a dud.The scope seems great, but it wasn’t put together properly. The zoom adjuster wasnt screwed in properly so it just spun freely, and snapped a gasket. I had to find the screw hole and line it up myself and make sure it was in properly and in that process the gasket fell out. I really don’t want to return it over a rubber ring….ugh. now I have to worry about moisture ruining a otherwise perfect scope. If you are out there send me a gasket and I’ll change my review! For the price I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I did expect it to be assembled properly.Second update: the seller sent a replacement that works flawlessly. This scope is inexpensive for the quality, and this sellers service is worth every penny! I’ve been ignored by much bigger companies and I’m very impressed with how this seller fixed my issue! | Color | I mounted the scope on one of my air rifles and I normally shoot at 20 to 25 yards. Like most inexpensive scopes with no AO adjustment, images were blurry at 9 magnification at close range.. However, the parallax is adjustable by removing the large front lense ring, dial the scope to 9 magnification and then adjust the parallax by gently turning the lense until the target is clear. This makes close range shooting much easier. This adjustment is not to be taken lightly. If you loosen the lense too far and break the seal the scope is ruined. See the You Tube video for more instructions on this adjustment. There are lots of reviews for this scope , so I will not be redundant and add commentary. But, I thought the parallax adjustment was worth commenting on. |
| Material | After several days of looking for a budget scope for my Smith & Wesson M&P Sport II I finally decided to give this one a shot (again with the gun puns). I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this scope given the price but I was thoroughly surprised. The eye relief is way better than I expected. I had this scope zeroed in at 100 yards in a matter of about 3 shots and even after about 300 rounds and some bumps to it it still holds true. I highly recommend this as a budget scope, my only con so far is it fogged up pretty easy when I was out using it in below freezing temps which you almost have to expect with a scope in this price range. I have already recommended this to several friends who were also in the market for a budget scope. |
| Power Source | Pretty amazing for the price. The instructions with this scope are not very detailed, so here’s what I found. The reticle crosshairs are marked with short crossbars at 10 MOA intervals when at 4x magnification, 5 MOA intervals at 8x magnification. Once you adjust the eyepiece focus to be sharp on both the reticle and the distant 8x field of view (rotate the knurled ring) you get a clear focus from about 50 ft away to infinity, with just a little chromatic aberration. My reticle was off plumb by only about 1.5 degrees, so within specs of many scopes and not an issue. Only time will tell how rugged it will prove in field use, but quite happy with my first impressions. |
