| Dimensions | This is my second Bushnell Banner scope and in my opinion, for the money, these are good scopes. These are made in South Korea and the glass is clear and sharp. I have this one mounted on my Marlin 336W in .30-.30.I tend to get scopes that are affordable and within my budget. I get the reasons for buying scopes that cost 500 dollars plus, but for my purposes, I can’t justify spending that much when I can use a “cheaper” scope that works just as good in taking big game animals in my neck of the woods.I have other rifles with more expensive Nikons and Vortex optics, and the Bushnell Banner has a place among those at my house. |

The scope is really clear through all magnifications, the light transmission is great in the evening low light and the circle-x reticle makes for fast and easy target acquisition. It sighted in easily and I’m getting 5 shot dime sized groups using CCI A17 ammo. After watching one of these scopes hold up to my brother’s AK-47 and never lose zero I know it will do great on my 17HMR. I would def by this scope again. |

| Material | Update… FOGGING ISSUES! Changing review to 1 star. Besides the aforementioned focus issues, now that the weather is heading into fall/winter, I am having fogging issues with this scope. INTERNAL! At first I thought it was just going from warm indoor to cooler outdoors, but it can’t be wiped off…. its internal. Come on Bushnell! Even the cheapest crap scopes sold these days are sealed and don’t fog internally!I purchase this scope because of the reticle. What I’ve found is that, while it does hold zero very well, the focus in the field of view is pretty awful. If I keep the scope power at 4, and get it focused, its what I would consider just OK….. but change the magnification, and everything gets horribly fuzzy, and then I’m twisting around on the focus. I use this on a .22 cal PCP rifle for pests, and don’t have time to jack around with focusing every time I change magnification/zoom…. so it’s very annoying. |
