To confirm antlers on a whitetail deer at dusk, I’m good with this scope out to 200 ~ 250, with eyes nearing 50 years old. Target shooting, no problem, can reach much further out.. but the devil is in the details, confirming the animal you’re shooting, knowing male vs female, and if the antlers are legal for your local area. If you need to hunt at 300-yards or further ranges, look for greater than 12x zoom. I’m no expert, but I do a lot of shooting.This scope included a sunshade and lens covers in the box.No complaints! Will buy again! I’ve got two of these scopes and several optics from other manufacturers. I prefer Vortex for best value. |
