| Dimensions | It’s exactly what you would expect for the price. It will work fine on a 22 caliber, up to 223, I wouldn’t try it on a 22-250 though. My issues with the scope are as follows:the reticle is a mildot reticle, and the adjustments are in MOA. The clicks on the adjustment knobs do not correlate to mildot easily. Most scopes that are MOA adjust for 1 click=1/4 MOA, and for mildot, 1 click =0.1milrad.The “IR” in the product name is misleading to some, but using common sense, where are you going to find an “Infrared scope” for this price? Obviously, if you read the description, IR means illuminated reticle. That being said, the IR on this scope is so bright, it washes out the target in low light, even on the lowest setting.The parallax adjustment is a joke at 200 yards. It isn’t possible to get a clear full field of view.My advise would be to put this on a 22 LR plinking gun where you don’t need to worry much about bullet drop or longer range shooting, unless you’re pretty good at holding over using the mildot reticle, rather than adjusting for MOA. This scope is not a sniper scope, as the title implies, but if you want a scope that will hold a rough zero on a small caliber rifle for cheap, it’ll suit your needs.Hope this helps a little. |

This had a clearer and larger view and this scope was on sale where I was at for $30 more than on Amazon. It is the perfect size, handles the stress and shock of a .308 and was easy to sight in and holds great grouping. I would buy Barska over and over. |

Zeroing at the halfway mark (6x) is the best option if you want to retain accuracy at 3x and 9x. I’m pulling off 1″-2″ groups at 70 yards and placing shots through the same hole at 30 yards with a freaking crossbow, so hopefully you won’t have any issues with accuracy, either.The illumination is also quite nice, though I don’t usually need it unless shooting at dusk.Mounts securely to a standard Picatinny rail. Once I was able to begin zeroing in, I found the scope was defective. The scope moved diagnal on vertical plan and had a slight arc to it. The horizontal movement had no movement and the dial would spin almost without end. I have contacted Barska and still have not had any response. |
| Power Source | will write a further update after i take it to the range this weekend. first impression this scope is nicely done for the price. crisp clear glass very easy to see. the eye relief is great! i saw some reviews and was skeptical at first but it does have a focus capability on the back end of the scope so if you zoom in it fixes the blur. the red/green feature is really good. it gets extremely bright on the highest setting. more than id imagine id need. but again i will write a further review tomorrow after i put a few hundred rounds down range. thats the only reason i havent given 5 stars yet. want to make sure it holds zero on my 7.62×39 AR15. so far id say its Def worth the money! oh and it comes with lens covers battery and rings and allen wrench and cloth alsoUpdate:Ill keep it simple. worth the money and buy.has not lost zero after about 75 shots fired down range. i can see clearly enough to make out a vehicle plate number from 60yds. well built low price and worth it. buy this if youre on a budget! |
