| Dimensions | If you have to buy big name brands (with big price tags) this is probably not the right scope for you. I am not snobby about hunting gear so long as it puts the food on the table. I love this scope, bottom line.I borrowed my Dad’s 30-06 for deer season this year. He slapped on a lower end name brand scope (a wal mart special) and told me to go sight it in. After about 15 shots the scope was blown out from the high powered rounds. With deer season approaching quickly I turned to Amazon and researched out a scope that could handle 30-06 abuse. That’s when I stumbled across this value scope.The shipping was rapid and the packaging was more than adequate. The scope had a great feel and a solid heft to it. It did not feel like cheap thin gauge metal. The finish is a nice matte black that seems durable.For installation, the scope mounted right to the existing Picatinny rail, no special adapters required. I used clear fingernail polish on the mount threads instead of blue Loctite at the behest of an armorer friend.I have a weird eye dominance/vision impairment combination and I have had a hard time with other optics in the past. But sighting in at 25YDS, 50YDS and finally 100YDS at the range was a breeze! The wind and elevation knobs are simple to click and count, no screwdrivers required. I was worried about the 40mm fixed aspect but it gives me a great view with one eye viewing and two eye viewing. Real world/real time target acquisition is rapid after some intentional relaxation. No trigger jitters.I love the flip up lens covers. The front cover is nice and tight so you can leave it on but flipped up when shooting. The back cover is intentionally loose so you can slip it off to dial in last second fine adjustments.This scope takes the impact of 30-06 round after round and remains accurate. I harvested a nice doe with it first time out.I will post follow ups if I have issues in the future.I sincerely hope this helps you! | Model Number | So I got this scope on Dec.9 2019. The packaging was very well put together and looked amazing. When i opened the box i was surprised at how nice the scope looked. I attached it to one of my ar15’s because that’s ighted what it was made for. I got it sighted in at 100 yrds dead on in 3 shots. The glass was exceptionally sharp and the reticle looked pretty crisp also. I have put 2500 rds through this ar15 with this scope on in the last month. I waited so long to write a review because I wanted to make sure the scope was going to hold up. I am happy to say this scope still shoots zero after all the rds I put through it and even dropped it twice. So if you’re looking for a decent scope for some budget tack driver shooting this scope is the one for you. |
| Color | This so far has held up well on the PSA KS-47, chambered in 7.62×39. I will say that since this scope is primarily designed for .223 cause the BDC is set up for that caliber, it seems to work well for the 7.62×39, but I think that this scope would shine on a rifle in the .223 caliber better. I have thought about purchasing another scope from this same company for the KS-47 and use this one on another build.Pros: Price point, what you get for what you pay is outstanding. The glass was clearer than I thought it would be for the price. Solid construction and positive adjustment click on both windage and elevation.Cons: Well using it for a caliber it’s not designed for. This isn’t a con on the scope I just didn’t realize that it was BDC for the .223 caliber round. So sighting it in for 7.62X39 was time-consuming, and ammunition consuming.Did have some mounting issues, would slide in the scope mount, even after lapping the scope rings and trying several different mounts, had to add friction tape to the scope mount that I went back to to get it properly centered in the mount so it wouldn’t move.In all a great scope but would like to see what it can do on a rifle in .223 caliber. |
| Material | For the price, this turned out to be an excellent deal. I put this on my built ar. Sighted in at 100 yards with 4 rounds. My friends and I put another’s 200 rounds though it at the range that day and it held it’s zero perfectly. The clarity, depth of field at most zoom settings and reticle and parallax are all the equivalent of my much more expensive Leopold scope. The clarity and depth of field fall off some at the extreme upper end of the zoom but over the rest of its range it is exceptional. I waited to post this review so that i could see if it was durable and maintained its quality. It has held zero through several range trips on a Ruger charger, admittedly not the hardest kicking gun. The extended Eye Relief really came in handy with this gun so I am very happy with the purchase. |

The optical qualities are just great!It satisfies my desire to accurately place a group on target consistently. With my 85 year old eyesight unaided, the barn walls are safe if I am shooting from inside the structure.This is my second Feyachi Scope . The first one was mounted on a Ruger 10-22 and I am very happy with it as well.Considering the many opportunities to spend ones money today, it makes sense to me to look for the biggest bang for my buck. This is why I have purchased so many other products from Feyachi.Bi-pod’s, red dots , green lasers, Sand Bag bench rests, all have been of consistently great quality and well worth the money expended.I just cannot believe the quality of CNC work [ I taught Machine shop in a high school for 29 years ].Were it possible to do so , I would like to go on a tour of the manufacturing facility in China and see for myself how it is done. I am in awe of the quality of the work and for the economical price they get for it.I suggest others look at their lineup on Amazon and judge for yourself. |
