| Dimensions | I read through lots of reviews and settled on this 3-9x scope with adjustable objective. I love this scope. Very clear and holds zero with budget solid upgrade scope mounts. It holds zero and tracked well enough to zero quickly based on the MOA clicks. With the AO version you need to first adjust the diopter before zeroing. Get a bore laser pointer or a laser sight and point at an object around 15 yards away. Holding the rifle absolutely still, Adjust the objective until the laser dot doesn’t move back and forth in relation to the crosshairs when you move your head back left and right. Then adjust the diopter to make the image in focus. Or just YouTube how to adjust diopter. This will give you the most stable parallax free view when adjusting the objective to the distance you are shooting. May need to research those scope words but you’ll get a truer zero after doing that. No more parralax error. Very good scope for a 22lr and the squirrels don’t stand a chance. |

Sighting in, the turret will make several clicks and the reticle will not move like there is play in it and then when it catches up going to the left and you need to go the other direction, you just keep clicking till it starts to move usually about a half a dozen clicks or so but when done will hold zero. Elevation does the same honestly, 4-6 click lag time. Adjustable objective work well and is pretty close on yardage accuracy. Power is good, clarity is good, ocular adjustment is also good. For the money you really can’t complain much. This is not and will never be a 3000$ Night Force scope that you can crank turrets for accurate POI at distance and would be impossible with the amount of play in windage and elevation adjustment but that said…it is a good backyard scope for a moderate PCP for Target and field hunting. This is NOT a scope for a break barreled rifle because with the reverse recoil they have would rip this scope and most other scopes that are not designed for that type of gun apart. If it wasn’t a decent deal for what you get, I wouldn’t have 3 of them and only buy the CVLife brand because the other brands that I have tried had lots of problems and hate sending them back till I get a good one…if ever. |
| Color | I bought this scope to replace the original 3-9x40AO that came with my Stoeger air rifle. It finally took a dump after 3 years of pounding hundreds of squirrels. Our property is loaded with mature Hickory and Oak so it’s like a varmint highway and our Vizslas go crazy whenever one of these critters trespass. To keep peace in the neighborhood, I need power, accuracy and lethal punch. I have that with the Stoeger . I will say, this scope is more than I expected!It only took 5 shots to zero in at 25 yards. It adjusted quickly. The rings were a bit tight but loosened up after a few turns. The mounts were too big for my rail so I used the original mounts with no problem.In closing, my rifle and scope would be worthless without Polymag Predator .177 pellets. I’ve tried everything over the years and these are scary accurate and humanely lethal! |
