| Dimensions | This sniper brand scope is exactly the same scope as my UTG/Leapers scopes I have mounted on a couple of my 22’s. Only difference is the brand name. Everything functions the same right down to the turret locking rings and the zero reset option and how it works. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet, but it seems to have good clarity thru out the power range, especially when used with the adjustable objective. The only ding I can give it right now is that, the mil-dots don’t have the same crispness and roundness that the Leapers do. This is of no concern, since I don’t use the mil-dots anyway. I chose this scope due to the fact it was going on a Rem. 700 in 223 cal. and, Amazon was out of the Leapers of the same magnification. So far I’m happy with the scope , but time will tell if it will perform as well as the Leapers. I included a few pic.’s to show it mounted. I used Remington brand one piece rings and bases in a Med. height platform. 2/27/15- Now that the scope has been on the rifle for some time and has seen plenty of rounds down range, it’s holding up nicely to my 223. No problems with it at all. Still bright and clear and holds zero well, no complaints other than the AO is a little stiff to turn, but would rather have it stiff and stay put than loose and sloppy. |
| Model Number | I paid $59.00 for this scope a couple months ago. I noticed it is now $20.00 more.For what I paid it is a decent scope. I put it on my Benjamin Discovery .22 air rifle, and it works very well. It sighted in easily. It still holds zero after a few hundred pellets. My only negative, is the eye relief does not have any room for movement…at least at 16x magnification. At the current pricing, there are other scopes I would buy before this one. |
| Color | The scope is 16 inches long. Came with Sunshade, lens covers and 1″ low profile heavy rings. Made rifle a bit heavy do to larger scope, but nothing to worry about. Installed battery and the green, red and blue mildot reticle lighted up fine. Unlocked the zero rings and moved windage and elevation turrets and could here the clicks. Installed everything quickly and everything was working well. AFTER FIRING 1,500 + SHOTS THE SCOPE BEGAN TO BE INCONSISTENT. COULD NOT HOLD THE KICK OF THE NP2 FOR TOO LONG. I AM CLAIMING THE WARRANTY SINCE SCOPE HAS 1 MONTH OF USE. Scope was checked by manufacturer and after 100 shoots the Zero became a problem. The manufacturer arranged sent a replacement scope. The replacement scope came with problems on elevation. Could not zero the scope from 5 to 10 yards. Have to return replacement scope and ask for refund. The manufacturer did not respons to my 2nd claim. I lost my money. I got mad and destroyed the scope. |
