| Dimensions | I have higher priced reflex sights on mu handguns since those are my home defense setups and failure is not an option. I got this for my Extar EP9 since it was going to be a range toy based on reviews for a youtuber with a water bottle (wink wink). The build quality is surpisingly sturdy. I attached this to my picatinny and sighted in with a laser bore sighter. Within 2 minutes I was hitting 3 inch groups at 25 yards, something I wouldn’t be able to do consistently with even my glock 17 gen 5. After 300 rounds, still held perfect zero. Despite its claims of zero parallax, there is actually quite a bit, but that can be corrected with consistent form, which is easier with a cheek weld. The dot was super bright and fairly crisp. I would highly recommend this for a rifle or subgun since the viewing angle stays the same, but a handgun may have issues with the parallax. Windage and elevation adjustments have a satisfying “click” and are secured by a screw down cap. I don’t know how this will handle recoil on larger caliber gunds, but works perfectly on my 9mm. |

I am firearms instructor, so I play with and test lots of different optics, I personally run a Trijicon MRO, and the number one question that I get is “is there a more budget friendly optic that is less than X amount of dollars” before using this optics I would always steer people towards Holosun’s or Vortex’s for around $150-200 ish. Now I can recommend this little micro dot for those that are looking for a decent optic for under $75. First ill start with the pros.There are several things that I really like about this red dot. The first is the cost. This optic come in at $32 after tax, and it is an impressive little package. Another thing that I really like about it is that it has an absolute co-witness with my fixed front sight. I like that it comes with a mount, as a lot of these budget optics do not. It also come with the ability to switch between red or green, as the human eye picks up green better than red. Lastly, I like that it has a 4-moa dot, it really pops out to you when you are shooting.Really the only con that I can think of is that it doesn’t tell you on the optic what the adjustment increments are for your windage and elevation, and it isn’t much better in the instructions that come with it, as it has it all in metric, but it is about ½ MOA per click.Conclusion, if you are looking for a budget red dot that will work, this may be an option for you. I haven’t used it a lot, and time will tell, but as of right now it works well. |
| Color | I’m a new AR 15 owner. This was installed on a Radical Firearms FR15. NICE gun! I installed some iron flip up sights, and purchased this as the main sight for my rifle. What is truly amazing, is that both my UTG BUIS sights, and this LED were, at about 50 yards, apparently not in need of any adjustment at all, right out of the box. I went to the range to zero both in, and they’re so close, I didn’t have to. I’ll return to a longer outdoor range to do this proper, when the weather around here is better.I LOVE the ability to select dot brightness, and to choose either red or green. The rail mount is pretty slick, with the serrated locking release tab.You can remove or install this sight in seconds. I purchased this here, after seeing numerous YouTube videos on red dot sights. This one got high marks, and survived some really rough torture tests, including water immersion, and dropping, and bashing against solid objects. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed! Sure, you can buy other ones near this price, or a more expensive sight, but it will probably be made in China, too. So, instead of buying a solar powered sight that costs as much as some AR 15’s, save a bundle, and buy lots of American made AMMO! |

I purchased one of these about 2 years ago and installed it on a .223, the zero has never moved while shooting, the brightness of both red and green dots are ample and comparative to higher end optics. I recenty purchased two more of these for .223 flat top receivers. These also cowitness on center with ar-15 iron sights. There are other red dots that look nearly identical but are not, the laser diode is placed on the side and not the bottom and it is also more weak. The otw brand is the only one i have found to be superior in quality and function. I tried similar at half the price and got half the quality. |
