It’s being capable of 100yard+ shots makes this scope downright handy for an older shooter. Or one that’s steadfast about shot placement at longer ranges. Great field of view with this one’s 40mm objective. clear as crystal too. When I combined it with the Instapark 5-bolt mount, I go the perfect set up for my 1400cs and it’s lil mule recoil. This scope has taken all the abuse that Winchester can dish up. So it should do perfectly on your air rifle. These scopes really are designed to take all the abuse a break barrel air rifle can dish up! Combined with the great field of view on this 40mm objective and you have a really nice scope you’ll enjoy for years to come. |
| Model Number | This is an update to my first review. I gave it only 3 stars then. Can’t remember why it was so low. Cause I had my maurader out yesterday and was very pleased with the scope. Shot nothing, just bird watching through the scope. I could hear birds singing all around us but couldn’t see any of them. So I went and got my gun to use my scope to find the birds in the trees. I adjusted the scope for several distances from 15 yards to beyond 100 yards. I was able to see many variety of birds and at many different distances without any problem. This morning I stumbled upon my first review and felt I should update it to better reflect how I feel about this scope today. I think its a good scope for the money spent on it. Oh yeah, I have shot pest on my yard with it and it is holding zero spot on. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me this go around |
| Color | Seriously, if you are using a break barrel pellet rifle you seriously need to make some measurements before ordering. I had two and three quarter of an inch clearance left on my Hatsan 95 Combo.The scope was actually a little too far forward on the mono rail for my rifle, so had had to back the scope up nearly a half inch on the mount. Of course I had to break out the levels and that’s really annoying.The capped toolless turrets are great for making quick adjustments on the bench.The optics are not the best quality but that doesn’t mean this isn’t the best scope I have owned. And that 40mm aperture really brightens up the shadows.This might be a brand I haven’t heard of before, and having it mounted on a break barrel pellet rifle is probably the worst thing you can do to a scope. But I am going to have a lot of fun seeing how long I can use it before it needs to be replaced |

THE FRONT BELL IS TIGHT AGAINST THE BARREL BUT IT WILL SHOOT STRAIGHT AND TRUE AT 300 FT. OPTICS ARE GREAT. JUST NOT SURE WHY THE MOUNT WILL NOT TRUE UP. ALSO THE REAR DUST COVER HAS A CIRCLE DEAD CENTER THAT APPEARS LIKE IT HAD HEAT APPLIED SO YOU CANT SEE THRU IT, BLURREDI HAVE A SWISS ARMS PELLET RIFLE 1250 FPS WITH THIS SCOPE VARMINTS DON’T STAND A CHANCE GREAT SCOPE MIGHT HAVE TO USE DIFFERENT MOUNTS. |
| Power Source | First things first. When I got to the range and was attempting to sight the scope in, the elivation would only turn 10 clicks ether way out if the box. Luckily I had tools in my range bag. When adjusting the turret cap came off of what it was attached to on the scope. Not enough glue on the threads of the adjustment knob. So like I said it would only turn 10 clicks both ways. I took the turret out of the scope and reinstalled it, AT THE RANGE. It took me about an hour to get the turret back in the scope set and was able to use the scope. FINALY. I know wrighting it down in a review doesn’t make it sound like that bad of a product. But it wouldn’t track correctly at first then as I started adjusting it all came together. This was almost a 3 hour ordeal just to get it to start working correctly. After I left the range that day the scope worked. Most annoying thing I have ever felt with with a scope. I use it on an umarex octane .22. Took it squirrel hunting had to go back to the range and change pellets so i had to re zero naturally the pellets wernt the same weight and one was a round nose and the second is a hollow point. But when i went and re zeroed with the hollow points it sighted in with ease. So i bought the 3-9 version. Havnt used it yet but bottom line after the agonizing beginning I was actually satisfied enough to purchase another. 3 stars is all I could give it. Take a chance for the price people seam to be having good luck with it. So yea it’s worth it. |
